Uh... why not just get a coffeemaker with a built-in timer? Set it up the night before, and you wake up to the real thing.

That's just damn cruel - waking me up with coffee aroma and no actual coffee is going to result in such a gadget being stress tested on the opposite wall within 10 seconds!

Unless it has an iPod interface of course ;-)
