We lived a few miles from March Air Force Base which used to be a SAC base and high on the likely target list should WoPR go nuts as it was an air refueling wing base. Dad would tell us that if we ever saw that NAOC plane in the air that we should kiss our butts goodbye. But of course it's unlikely that we'd actually see it since we'd probably already be vaporized.
