But who does that?

What I don't like about this one is that you have to push the whole freaking stand to the end of the bed to get out from under it, a hazard unless your on a non carpet floor.

I agree with other people who say get lcd monitors and arms, and wireless keyboards help too.

You basically need 4 poles, 2 shelves (1 that sits lower on all 4 poles and the other a half-depth one that sits at the top on only 2 poles). I then use velcro straps to attach the folded-open laptop to the top shelf so that the laptop base (the part with the keys) is standing vertically from while the display is leaning slightly over. Now put this above your favorite reclining chair (I prefer a Laz-e-boy) and voila!

First, I have full body pain due to muscle and nerve irritation and inflammation. A mix of tendonitis and God knows what else, doctors can't figure it out.

Sitting alone irritates my sciatica, thighs, calves, and back, let alone the typing that irritates my forearms, shoulders and neck. This would definitely alleviate all that pressure to some degree, although elevating the legs to prevent lower back pressure would be even better than a flat position.

The second problem? Finding a place to nap comfortably at work =D

Why don't you get a lcd monitor arm from lcdarms.com or ergomart.com? Thats what I did. My computer desk is near my bed so I mounted the arm on the desk and when I'm done with desk duty I swing the arm over for use when I'm in bed.

I'm tying this lying down right now but my monitor is on my desk along side my bed and i'm on my side in a position that is probably making my spine contort even more.
I could really use this thing to spread out the time i spend at the computer as i work from home. A few hours sitting (which agrevates my problem the most), some standing and the rest laying down would be an ideal sollution.
Only one problem. 4K for that beast is a rediculous and out of reach sollution. I don't need it motorised, just need the bare bones frame and would pay maybe $250 for such a product.
Ah well I'll wait until a Chinese knock off comes onto the market.
