My home iMac installation appears completely wireless thanks to clever cable wiring, but this would make using the USB ports / iPod docking even better.

If you don't have a hole you can get one of those door knob installation kits at Home Depot. Just make sure of opening the kit carefuly so you can return it afterwards. Buy the white one, it doesn't get scratched.
Don't forget to ask for your (free!) "I'm a Cheap Asshole" forehead-sticker on your way out of the store.
