Oh wait, you're going to get taxed again when Apple runs the card against your purchase. So if I try to spend close to 60, you're going to have to add taxes again to your total... I'm not even going to try and tell you how much you'll lose, but it will narrow your earnings on that $15 you got for free.

Giftcards: you give (prepay) vendor money and then you might use the card. Chances that the amount you spend is greater than the value of the card-- 100%
