I don't know about you, DouglasThurman, but talking to my mom on the phone is a form of birth control in and of itself. For the cost of a few minutes of airtime, my libido (and perhaps my will to live) are decreased to near-zero levels for days.

In all seriousness, I do like the design but I have a feeling that much like those older iMac mice, it won't feel too good to hold and it may cause trouble that way. I don't personally need help dropping my phone.

Sometimes this reminds me a bit to fractal self-similarity... Such a product almost same layout existed earlier: Siemens Xelibri 6 - see here:

The Xelibri series was no success and had been stopped after a few years though... Lets see what happens to this one then. Also self-similarity to business (non-) success? ;-)
