"eridun says:

"Maybe PC has a point when he spends his time making spreadsheets and graphs and charts (those pesky little things that pay bills) instead of diddling all day making iPhoto photoalbums and crappy tunes from samples on Garage Band."

mac users don't need to use spreadsheets to pay their bills - they do what every other mac user does - pays them online and lets their bank keep track of it. or they use iCal and quickbooks to keep up with it. Users who 'diddle' usually don't have bills to pay - mommy and daddy do."

You might want to try actually reading the post...he wrote "pay the bills", not "use to pay bills".

He wasn't talking about using them to keep track of the bills he's paid, he was talking about using them to pay the bills.. which means earn the money to keep a roof over his head and his kids fed. While the Mac character is diddling all day making photoalbums of his cat, the PC character is earning money.. hmm probably why PC is so much better dressed too.

Oh you geniuses you.

Maybe Jesus knew already how many days June has?

Maybe Jesus just wanted to highlight that for the iPhone to arrive on June, the month should have more than 30 days? You know, just like the AppleTV launched on February 46th?

Maybe Jesus should have make that point even more exaggerated rather than expecting all readers to catch it?

Maybe that way he would have avoided smartypanty readers with a talent to point the obvious or who apparently want to get smacked?

Oh, so little time, so many questions.

I will have another margarita to go, please.

Jesus Diaz

Jeff

Don't blame Jesus for not knowing how many days are in June.

Sure, F12 on the Mac brings up the Dashboard, which has a calendar widget and sure, Macs come with iCal pre-installed, and sure, there are other calendaring programs like Google Calendar or Entourage, and sure, paper calendars also do a wonderful job of displaying months, and sure, there is a mnemonic rhyme that every American grade schooler learns, but remember, this is the 21st Century, where clever trumps correct.

And June 31 with the little bloggerific strikeout conceit is more clever than your correct assertion about the number of days in June. Therefore, Jesus is right and June now has 31 days.

embee
