Why does it seem that MS is copying the moves of the competition so well, thought they knew what everyone wanted. Seems to me that Sony is doing something right.

If they ran F@H on an xbox, they'd die in like 2 minutes. :P

Did he actually admit the processors aren't as powerful as PS3s?

He likes to kick himself in the face just as much as Phil Harrison.... :P

SliceWarriorX

I think PC's are better suited for running that Folding program than video game consoles. PC are made to run for hours and hours without overheating. PC's have better cooling systems than video game systems like the PS3 and 360 which overheat after a few hours of intense use. Beside running your 360 for hours and hours running that Folding program will just shorten the life of your 360. From a manufactures point of view I can see why Microsoft is not embracing the Folding program. It means more wear and tear which equals to more warranty repairs they must cover. I don't think Microsoft should do it. If you want to do your part for cancer research then just download the program and run it on your PC or Mac.

pupaboy

They will absolutely NEVER do this. The failure rate is way too high right now (a topic Moore stepped around just the other day in another interview I read). Having 360s on longer, crunching numbers = hotter machines = more failures.

I'm on my 3rd - and I would never leave that thing running when I'm not actively using it.

Dancing Milkcarton
