Ideas and discussions like this is what makes being a college aged female tech/gadget enthusiast increasingly hard. Not only does it make enjoying technology difficult but makes being taken seriously in careers involving technology near impossible.

I also have a sense of humor towards these things and will laugh at most things like this, but as an fyi: an easy fix to entice more women into technology would be to stop discouraging us.

Surprisingly, you indeed hear no sound when taking a picture with the headphones plugged in. I wonder if a software update can even fix that if the speaker is turned off whenever the headphones are plugged in. But I'm not a hardware guy...

It's just one option setting in WM6 (though it's buried 8 menus deep) to disable the shutter sound and the iPhone is pretty obviously not an iPod even to the non-technical.

Am I the only person who already uses his existing cell phone camera to take pictures secretly? It's a little hard to aim the lens while you're holding the phone up to your ear, but no one knows you're taking a picture. I have done this more times than I care to count, or admit to, for that matter.

The RAZR V3 is a much better phone to upskirt with so I am told. It's much smaller and can take images with the clamshell closed. Of course they are only VGA and not 2MP like the IPhone.
