I love nixie tubes, but I've seen better nixie clock designs than this one. With the curved brush steel frame, it looks like it ought to be over the bulkhead of a submarine.

I wonder if I can take a router to my stainless steel fridge, cut out holes for the nixie tubes, and install this so I can tell the time as I pass the fridge? ...my wife would kill me, but it would look much cooler! :)

Promethh

i love nixie tubes. but they are so expensive when the clocks come assembled. this one doesn't strike me as all that cool, but the nixie tubes are carrying it quite a bit.

jerrt

Also, one would think this would get a closer release to the Christmas season... perhaps October (a la the video ipod 2 years ago)

I bought a nixie clock that had its directions translated (badly) from German. I was baffled, my two E.E. friends were baffled. I think it's sitting in a closet now.

Perhaps if we were to run it through an Engima machine, the instructions would be clearer.

Monoplex

Nixies rock. Reminds me of the scale readout that my dad used to have at his grocery store back in the 70s. Cool look. Little spendy though.

Windhawk
