Jesus Diaz (if that is the writer of this article) obviously has no idea what he's talking about.

The fact that he references Tetris (A game older than sin) proves it even more so.

It seems like he has all the facts about the game "Gunbound" and can easily relay them but then he starts wailing on the kid with D&D references.

I can't believe how stupid some people can be.

You may gain points in Gunbound in order to get new stuff, appearances, etc but it has nothing to do with traditional RPG's (which is what Jesus seems to be referring to).

Is it so hard to find someone who knows what they're talking about?

I know the media can be especially dull about things such as gaming and other niche hobbies but I would have expected more from a online media source.

That's just sad.

Plus him being "the world leader in GunBound" does that mean he automatically is a gamer on the degree of "tetris" and Dungeons and Dragons? (a table-top game)

Find a master chess player that is also a "GO" fanatic.

Or a classical concert pianist who plays death metal on the side.

This is just stupid.

Being a World Leader in Gunbound should give you an account well worth over $8K, but hey, morons are morons. Also, wouldn't it be easy to locate a "I'M SELLING MY UBER HIGH RANKING ACCOUNT FOR THIS MUCH!" It's like stealing a national treasure and expecting not to get caught, especially when you're small time idiots like these guys who actually think threating to kill the guy you need the password from is a great way to interrogate someone.

Although, kudos to them for the 5 hours of effort they put in (or lack there of, what which way they did it.)

Sao Paulo and Brazil in general have reputations for being pretty crime-filled areas. I guess what's surprising is the pre-meditation of this crime. I've had a similar incident happen to me when someone stole some valuable cards I brought with me to school. You get a reputation for having something really awesome, and then people know who you are. There are people out there who will watch for something valuable and take it from someone when they are not looking. This guy was not just the victim of theft, but because his account was so valuable the thieves upped the ante.
