If you're going to be so obnoxious to each other, you could at least spell your comments correctly. It'd make it a bit easier on the rest of us.

 Glad you work your butt off, but your spelling and grammar are atrocious.

 "Winer?" Really? Woa.

Wow, I love it when people make negative generalizations about the exact demographic group they belong to! Shows real intelligence. That is, unless you are the only 22 year old who doesn't suffer from entitlement syndrome and doesn't have mommy and daddy paying your way. Yes, you must be the only one on earth like that!

Grow up and stop being such a winer because some people have it better than you. Life isn't fair, deal with it and move on or go walk in front of a bus.

mangaguru

@BBFREAK

Step off, I'm 22 and I have been supporting myself through college and received no aid whatsoever from my parents. Sorry your generalization of me being old doesn't quite fit since I'm around the same age as you. As a recent grad from the UC system, I can't say I have much faith in the next generation of students being that everyone has entitlement syndrome today. All those ideas of giving everyone a living wage or supporting lame protests sound good until you get out into the real world.

The simple fact that you need a comedy show to understand issues today is retarded. Why does anyone need to cope with the issues? Are you living in Somolia or Ghana or starving to death? Life in America is relatively easy compared to the rest of the world.

You are correct, most people don't make rational decisions unless they face the truth, aka living on their own means. I think the fact is that most younger adults would like have their own views told to them by a tv show rather than do any critical thinking these days.

Remember everybody, 4 legs good, 2 legs bad! /sarcasm

Syndication

I'm not all that concerned about Comedy Central adding commercials to the clips.

Thanks to the wonder that is QuickTime and Snapz Pro under OS X, not only can I keep the clips, I can edit out the commericals.

And then, via Visual Hub, convert them to whatever handy format I want.

Gee, you sound a little bitter SYNDICATION, being one of those young people (Turned 23 yesterday), I'm glad you have so little faith in the next generation. Still, thanks for generalizing a whole generation. How about I do you, all old people are bitter morons who can't accept that they helped screw the pooch in the first place and thus enjoy taking it out on young people.

SYNDICATION: Because young people are stupid and need comedy innuendo to understand the issues.

Bbfreak: No, not to understand the issues, to cope with them.

SYNDICATION: Facts are that most young people haven't even cut ties with mommy and daddy in college and are living on their dime.

Bbfreak: Gee, I wish I was living on mommy & daddy's dime but the fact is I work my but off thank you very much.

SYNDICATION: People make rational decisions once they are responsible for their own living.

Bbfreak: No the don't, people don't make rational decisions unless they enjoy facing the truth. Most people don't, and thus they'll live with bullshit as long as possible. Putting everything into a comfortable yes or no, black or white category and wishing life was that simple.

bbfreak

@Elliuotatar
No. That wouldn't be possible. A media player, particularly a web-based one, would operate completely independently of the system clock.

dukerayburn

Hey, I just had an idea... Would it be possible to hijack the system
clock on a PC and jump it forward 30 seconds for a split second to
cause the media player to skip right past a commerical, then return it
to where it was so as not to mess up the date/time?

Elliuotatar

Well, I think he's officially old enough to run for president now.

His popularity among younger people is pretty amazing. It's really interesting to see a show that's mostly about politics hosted by a guy in his 40's to be so popular among young people.

I hope he get's Letterman's job when he retires, but CBS probably won't let him be as funny as he is now.

mangaguru
