I've kinda followed Alienware's product line since I first heard of them 5 years ago. I read some pretty awful stuff about their customer service, though, and have been waiting to hear better stuff before planning to purchase from them. It must be nice to have some 8000$ Alienware laptop to game on - pity I can't bring myself to do something like that given I can build the SAME specs (even better) into a desktop model for under 2000$

Uh...no, it's not the first laptop with both SSD and standard HDD. The Vaio TZ was there first.

Seriously, throw Ubuntu/Kubuntu onto even the crappiest laptop and it screams (in a good way).

I really wish I would have gone with Alien Ware 2 and 1/2 years ago when I got my new lap top instead of Widow PC - for all the awards Widow gets my lap top has been AWFUL.
