Nothing against the Zune, I like the control scheme better than the iPod one, but its not really Microsoft's idea. And it's probably not really Toshiba's either. Game consoles have had d-pads forever.

The Zune does have its own control scheme... It's not a touch/scroll wheel type thing like the iPod (at least Zune 1.0).

You click the directions like a d-pad.
