if t-mobile's coverage didn't suck so badly around here, i'd still be using a sidekick. even with it's limitations, the sidekick 2 was a great smartphone for me. i might look into them again though, since it looks like most of t-mobiles phones (including the sidekick i think) can roam on 850 now, and they have a free roaming agreement with at&t, who has great coverage where i actually need to use the phone. plus t-mobiles rates seem to be cheaper. i'll have to check it out when my at&t contract runs out.

I never really liked the Sidekick. It just didn't feel... right... to me...

Yeah, but when/if a company does come up with a comparable design to the iPhone, they get their product pegged as an iPhone clone and it is shunned by the general technological community at large [or at least Gizmodo/Gizmodo readers].

SCREW the iPhone. I've been an avid user of the sidekick since the very first black and white one came out. I can type almost 30wpm with 1 hand while driving on the keyboard. I'd like to see you do that on your POS iPhone. The only thing it has on the SK platform is Video, better camera, and faster internet, but with the new LX, the internet is just as fast. The SK id by far the best communicator i've ever used, even with its horrible OS, and lack of expandability. The Screen on the LX looks way better .

The iPhone really killed all the excitement over other cellphones. My hacked iPhone allows me to log on MSN/Yahoo or AIM... and I use T-Mobile. Someone has to come out with a design comparable to the iPhone to get my attention.
