@Joseph: Wow, that sucks. Considering the prices and availability of bigger hard drives, I see absolutely no value in flash drives on a desktop. I keep backups anyway, so a dead drive only means maybe a few hours of reinstallation :p

I would say "this is awesome" but from what I've been reading on the SSD, they all have USB 1 and 2 controllers. What does that mean? While you might have a solid state disk (which you're probably thinking is super fast), it's slow as crap and you'd be better off just buying a platter based disk. Until SSD's upgrade their controllers, they are nothing more than large USB thumb drives.

Well, as I hear, Alienware is the company to buy your slick looking machine from if you're not into DIY casemods.
From what I've seen, they offer some good gaming machines, at a premium.

What I've also seen, several months ago, was the announcement that Alienware were putting SSDs in their middle- to high-end machines.

@Sanjsrik: That was Dell, it was quite some time ago, and they haven't changed the company at all, they just get a % of it's profits. It was a deal for money, not to expand business, as Dell still obtains its XPS line, that is a direct competitor to the Alienware line.
