That's not even correct in Latin, let alone English.

The plural form of virus in English is viruses, and can never be "viri" (which means men in Latin) or "virii" (which means absolutely nothing). The word "virus" (meaning poison in Latin) is a mass noun, and therefore has no plural form in Latin. So, to sum it up, men and poison are not the same thing; it's "viruses" in English, mkay?

You have to generate some decent pressure to force the water through a membrane. I use to work at a place that had a RO unit to prefilter water before a manufacturing process and it took a lot of pumps and waste water to make that run. I don't think lungs would be capable of it.

Considering the device lasts about a year and provides an easily transportable, storable, usable mechanism for producing potable water out of dangerous water, I think it's a brilliant device.

Maybe that's changed.
