My only concern would be that it's tied to particular services. I like Chumby's model better, with an open development platform that can draw in different services. If Chumby 2.0 doesn't look like a hackey-sack I might buy one.

This is definitely a good direction for digital frames, bringing actually useful information into a room without the need for a PC.

I can't figure out from their site whether the frame takes photos directly from Flick and Picasa or do you have to import them into AlityOnline first. The graphic on the web page describing the functionality seems to imply so.

I can't also figure out whether it supports RSS (or other) photo feeds. The text on the site kinda implies it, but doesn't say definitely.

Anyway, I'm so keeping my eye on this one. Price is a little steep, but with the calender functionality and the awesome looking design of the frame, it's not too bad.
