I work at the Las Vegas Convention Center and saw this thing sitting around their booth fairly early during set up and had no idea it was a new product of theirs. A coworker and myself were actually considering stealing it as it was left very much unattended in the booth. :S So Gizmodo had better than me otherwise this story would have likely not happened.

Does anyone know if this can handle the rest of the world FM and AM channel spacing and de-emphasis? I am so tempted to get one if so. Dont want to repeat the mistake of getting a US radio and only being able to get 2 AM and 1 FM stations that happen to light up with what the radio can get.

I have been waiting for this. My only real request would be that it had some kind of of good rechargeable battery included like a big honkin video camera battery or something. The only thing I don't like about the old school boom boxes is the fact that they took 20lbs of D batteries that would go dead after a few minutes of breakdancing with my homies, Ozone and Turbo down at Venice Beach.
