Don't forget that Sprint is the only nationwide provider of 3G data (Verizon doesn't count because the restrictions placed on their service render it unusable). Sprint's already charging $60 a month for EVDO, so WiMAX is gonna have to be a hell of a lot more.

One can get 3.6Mb from AT&T's 3G offering for ~$20/month, and Verizon offers 20M/5M fiber for $50.

Sprint does not own any last mile infrastructure, hence they will price it closer to the current entry level pricing of ADLS and Cable.
