Yes, it can kill. As has been mentioned, this is a gun designed to be used at closer than point-blank range. Like pressed into the back or against the skull and fired. Dude shouldn't have crawfished on that bet and called you a liar.

It looks as though it is a six-shooter (as opposed to all being fired at once), but it looks like you'd have to manually rotate the cylinder, which doesn't make much sense. It would be more effective, I think, if all six went off at once. Like a tiny shotgun blast.

Awful damn cool, though.

That ammo looks like it is side primed, so it's not exactly something you can pick up at wal-mart. We're talking either antique or custom made.
