And for overseas calls it's pretty much the only way to go; my cellular carrier charges outrageous fees for calls to just about anywhere except the US. Skype is free to any PC and cheap to any landline. And goodness knows if you go overseas and want to call back to the US it's pretty much impossible unless you rent a cell phone, pay an arm-and-a-leg to use payphones or hotel phones, or pay your carrier for the privilege of remaining a customer when you're on vacation.

I tested out Skype on my PSP and was a little disappointed to find out that the peripherals from my old PSP don't fit my new one. And the PSP Slim doesn't come with remote control, so I guess if I'm going to use this I'll have to buy more peripherals. Also, the quality of what I was able to test was not that good, a fact that I attribute to the limited bandwidth of the 802.11b connection on the PSP. Adequate, but not great.
