The Viewty's touch screen requires a stiffer finger than I usually want to use in public and the software and UI seem bewildered by everything I try to do. Scrolling is goddamn tricky; you have to try and gouge the screen with your thumb and even then the menu/list has a tendency to bounce back the other way when you take your thumb off. Texting's a nightmare - laughable Graffiti/handwriting implementations or a baby qwerty keyboard which lacks simple things like apostrophes. You know, like we use in the English language. Wanna use the numbers keypad during a call - for voicemail etc? You can do it but it's an unimaginably awkward pain in the arse.

I know the iPhone/Touch software is a tough act to match but LG should be ashamed of how poor this thing is to actually use on a daily basis. A-fucking-shamed.

where have all you guys been? the KU990 has been out for a while now. this article is about the update to the software. NOT about the device. you can easily get it off the internet. ebay has tons of them. theyre GSM 900/1800/1900/hsdpa. as in "t-mobile and Att compatible"....
