* Note the controls and labels are right-side-up in the pick. They don't make sense for a slide projector.
* Note the huge 1,2,3,4 array, just under the huge orange track-select button.
* Note the lack of projector lens.
* Note that what looks like a slide tray is actually the big MONO speaker - all the more reason to justify the selection.
* Note the LARGE earphone jack at the lower right. Why would a slide projector have an earphone jack?
* There would be no debate if the owner had thought to insert an actual 8-track in it. This model leaves about an inch of the cartridge sticking out the side.
