I don't think I'd have much use for a full keg or even a pony. I just wouldn't drink it all before it got skunky. 5 liters over a few weeks though - I could probably handle that. There are a number of beers available in that size. As long as I don't have to drink Hineyken, I might actually consider this. Of course that will be an expensive trip to Williams Sonoma, since I will no longer be able to deny my wife that KitchenAid that she's been wanting and that I've resisted because it's a "one-purpose appliance that we don't have room for!"

So why would I want to pay $100 less for something that is equivalent to buying pony beers?

Also if I wasn't such a yuppy I probably could/should have built one out of an old fridge for much less.
