Way to make an ass of yourself...

"OpenOffice.org probably has over 40 million users. Oh sure we can't count them. We can only estimate. But as of 10 days ago, we had at least so far 49 million binaries downloaded. That does not include binaries distributed via the Linux distributors, alternative servers, CDROMs, or even P2P. It also does not include direct hits to our servers. So the number of users may be far larger or even smaller. But who's counting? Probably only Microsoft, and judging from its market behaviour it sees us as counting a great deal."

nutbastard

hmm. where'd my comment go?

The bug i constantly experience is when I am outlining and type "I. blah blah blah" Word changes it to "d. blah blah blah" and indents it 5 tabs.

I have 600 pages of notes thus far this semester and am about to start outlining. Please fix this bug before I get too far into the outlines; i can't take it anymore.

godawgs7

How about they fix the outling as well.

When i type "I. blah blah blah" I don't want it indented 5 tabs and for the number to be changed to "d. blah blah blah."

Seriously, that kills me. The bug existed in 2004 as well. I know what number I'm trying to put in, don't try and change it for me!

I have 600 pages of notes so far this semester and I don't want to have to deal w/ this anymore as I'm about to start outlining and its NOT going to be fun.

godawgs7

Open Office? iWork? Even slow as snail shit Office 04? They never crashed on me. Still irks me that the old Office for Mac never became a universal binary app. Haven't tried the new office because I already have 3 other office app suites.

thechansen

@imTheKing: I would put Word and Excel in the really, really, really good category. I have had some quirkiness with Powerpoint. Bullets reformat and pages shift at will. I don't use Entourage.

jdhuck
