I've never had a problem with the cord between the Nunchuck and WiiMote, except for maybe when I first pick it up to use it - must be some conspiracy because it ALWAYS has a knot in it. After that - no problems.

I don't understand why Nyko didn't just design the Nunchuck to be wireless. It doesn't seem like it would be much of a stretch to just built the wireless into the controller itself and it wouldn't look like a barbell. Also, I doubt if people would mind paying an extra $5 for a true wireless Nunchuck rather than this ugly-as-sing abomination.

@ AJ_Syrinx:
You can always find Wavebirds on fleaBay. However, they almost always sell for $30-35/each used. Even used they are a good buy.

@ MR OPTIMUS PRIME

The Wavebirds are much better than the MadCatz from all the reviews I've seen. I haven't seen any reviews on the wireless Wal-Mart controllers - I forget what brand they are and I don't see them in their online store.

PigVenus

It's just as comfy because it's a conversion kit, it uses the same adapter as you have now. See in the photo the wire just plugs in and the transmitter is added to the factory unit to let it be wireless. It's nice to see a practical solution instead of making a new controller you'd have to get used to all over again.

It's pretty hard to find the Wavebirds. I have 2, but paid $30/each used for them! (Yeah, call me stupid, but it's worth it for wireless - at least for the first 2 since they are much more frequently used than controllers 3 & 4).

PigVenus

My only question would be is it as comfy to hold as the 1st party Nintendo one. Thats one of my biggest issues with 3rd party accessories. They never feel as good as 1st party. Aside from that they also arent as reliable and can sometimes damage your console.

Nyko is guilty of this. Their charge stations can kill wiimotes and the sixaxis.

parad0x360
