Good shows get canceled because the Nielson ratings system has been broken since...well...since it started really.

It's a shame to see good shows go down because people still rely on a broken system and apparently have no desire to improve it.

For Comcast to actually make this feasible, they'd have to increase the bandwith to the homes. Not just download speed but upload speed as well. Maybe I'd actually be getting that 6Mbps they promised.

Cameras in every living room...I'm sure it won't take long for someone to hack this to allow for two way calling. How about to check on your house when you are away? How about virtual classrooms or monitoring hospice/homecare patients by heathworkers.

In any case, don't worry. With Comcast's crappy broadband, you think they'll have enough bandwith to sustain 24/7 "video surveillance" of all their subscribers? besides, duct tape on the lens would make all their snooping moot so bring it on!

After all, you already have minor output to transmit real time feedback with cable/sat and why the hell would they need 3 IR eyes for one simple remote?
