I need one of these for my MP3 jukebox that has USB, digital optical and RCA outs, but no DVI. I officially discovered this a day or two before I was to take it to a party, where I was planning to bring my 19" flatscreen monitor and desktop speakers to keep the whole rig upstairs instead of in the (finished) basement.

It ended up in the basement again.

deusdiabolus

Yeah loooks like you need 6 of them to support 6 - making at an expensive $774 solution. :)

This would be a great solution for folks running multimedia displays at trade shows and stuff.

Rotating images of products or spec sheets and that kind of stuff shouldn't push it's capabilities too badly, and you end up with a single USB device to hook to a laptop instead of some big stupid desktop with multiple video cards!

Put your fantasies to rest.

strider_mt2k

I think people (like myself) with a MacBook Pro - and hence only one DVI output - could use to have a multi-monitor setup. I agree you wouldn't play games or watch video on those montiors, but you could do email/chat/documents on them just fine.

roopesh
