Can I pair two of these to my BB and have them on both ears? Honestly though, someone needs to write a BT etiquette handbook. I can see using BT devices while driving, grocery shopping (maybe), working outside, gaming or any other time where both hands are either continuously or intermittently occupied but when those douche nozzles have them on at the friggin bar it makes me want to rip it off and drop it in their Heineken.

I am sure its not great quality but it sounds like it would be good enough for skype and maybe using in the car every now and then. I mean come on, $0.99?! You can't even buy a bottle of coke for that cheap.

I got a Motorola one of these for $30 at Walmart and only use it when driving and it is really handy compared to the wired setup. Of course you look like a dork anywhere but when operating a vehicle, but it does work good for that. They have some decent sunglasses with them built in, but not good for night driving.

I just got that in the woot.com wootoff going on now. I paid $8, but it also came with a USB bluetooth doggle, and figured since I could get both, and only $8, what the hell. Don't know how often I will use it.
I really wanted the doggle so I could send pics from my phone to the computer, and there is a really awesome Logitech bluetooth keyboard with track pad I am thinking of getting.

this is really bad. The reason driving while talking on the phone is dangerous isn't because you have to drive with one hand, lots of people do that just fine. The problem is the amount of processing power your brain suddenly has to divert to understanding audio. They've done experiments that show that when talking on the phone, your visual perception and ability to track multiple objects (read: cars on a highway) fall dramatically, whether or not you have both hands free.

I bought several of these Soyo Bluetooth headsets for my family for Christmas last December -- they were so cheap, I figured, why not? Well as you probably guessed, you get what you pay for. Even the super-high-end bluetooth headsets are not particularly well-reviewed (the $100 Jawbone has ~3 stars on amazon.com), and these are pretty budget devices... so yeah, achtung buyer.

I'm fine with people using Bluetooth headsets if they are actually talking on them and using both hands for something else. It's the people that walk around with them not using them, or yelling at the person on the other end while they're walking around that look like idiots.

A couple days ago we someone commented on how people who use bluetooth headsets when they're takin a leak is bad. But the other day, I walked into the bathroom and there was this guy one handin it while talking on his cellphone at the urinal. That was especially disturbing becasue he was shouting in Chinese. Just thought I'd throw that one out there.
