If it still has a dual-core processor, and some decent stats under it's hood, I know a couple people who'd jump at this instead of having a huge beige box sitting under their desks.

And if it were to have, say, DVI out? It'd look very cozy as a HTPC beside my Wii.

If it's still $300, I'd probably end up getting one anyway.

Tilted like that, they look like they might be the offspring of a Wii and a Mac mini with a little HAL 9000 grafted on. I like it even if some people can't see beyond similarities.

I wonder if they're real. If so, I hope the base looks better in the final design.

@aznplayer213: Dont count on it. In the original pictures it didnt seem to have a graphics card so it probably has an integrated intel video card.
I wouldn't get my hopes up.
And even tho the computer looks nice and all and could be a so called competitor to the Mac mini i doubt Mac feels threatened because quite frankly even if this thing came with slighty higher specs than Mac's mini it still wouldn't run any faster because Vista and XP aren't as lightweight as the Mac OS X.
Great alternative just to stream movies, music, pictures, and other types of media to your television or something of the sort but for that you could just get a 360 or a PS3 maybe a wii and you'll get the same thing and you'd be able to update the hard drive on the ps3 to match the asus's or just connect it to your desktop computer.
I see this more as walmart best seller product or something regular people that really dont care what kind of computer they have as long as they have it.
