I don't see what the problem is. We have two fairly large Wimax providers up here in Canada (although I think they share the network)...you'd think if we can do it, Sprint could do it easily.

@toyotaboy: "don't confuse 3g or 4g with Xohm which is closer to wimax" Zoom or Xhom or whatever the fuck they are calling it IS WiMAX. WiMAX is vaporware, always has been been always will be. These guys are so mega-fucked its not even funny anymore.

LTE & UMB are ready to roll and have infrastructure being built as we speak.

don't confuse 3g or 4g with Xohm which is closer to wimax (much faster upload/download with very little latency). I'm sure nokia is a little ticked considering the new N830 with wimax support just came out.

Nationwide 3G? I believe Verizon and Sprint both have EvDO Rev A deployed throughout most of their network if not all. So BAM 3G. AT&T with HSDPA I have no idea.
