Did anybody take a logical look at this and realize that the case would increase antenna area, and relocate the reception area? Hands cause horrible interference and this would help relieve some of that. But hey we could just all crack i-jokes.......

Oh and about why hacked iPhone reviews are crap- each carrier uses specific frequencies and expects the phone to act in a precise way, changing ANYTHING about a phone and doing a review is like putting $45 tires on a Bentley and saying it drives poorly......

doesn't matter if you were using it in Zimbabwe if the signal booster works it doesnt matter if the phone is unlocked, it will get better service, theres no difference between networks since the iPhone is quad band so how stupid can people be to believe their bs

"Does ClearBoost work with an unlocked iPhone?

Antennas are, by their nature, "tuned." Specifically, whatever length the antenna is will determine the RF wavelength that it "hears" best. This is just how antennas work.

ClearBoost's antenna is purposely measured to match the 850MHz wavelength range (well, actually, about 824 to 900-something) used by the only U.S.-authorized provider of service for iPhone. (Which seemed like a good idea, in a case for iPhone.)

This size antenna works, necessarily, less well the further you get from that wavelength. But even at the 1900 MHz of *another* well-known service provider (who shall not be named), some benefit will be realized; just not as much as at the 850MHz range."

I'm confused, why does the fact that they used a hacked iphone on tmobile mean it would perform poorly? Its just like those little pieces of meetal that you could stick inside the battery compartment of your cell phone from a few years back. It can't tell if the signal is going to AT&T, T-Mobile, or your microwave dinner.

If it does nothing for worst case conditions, it's useless.

Who cares about 3 bars or 5? in my experience anything above one bar, provided you aren't driving in spotty coverage areas, is enough to make a friggin phone call.

Does anyone here notice a difference in ANYTHING between 2 bars and full bars? If you do, you probably think those pear cables really are 'dancable'.
