Haro exists in several gundam series. There are 2 of them in gundam 00, and the orange one is used as a targeting/navigation/autopilot system, and the purple one works for the bad guys. In Gundam Seed they seemed to just be pet robots, who followed around one of the heroines but I never finished watching that one. And those are the recent gundam series it was in.

This one is from Gundam 00, because it is A) new, and B) says Tieria, which is one of the characters names.

to Frucci: i think this one is from teh latest gundam series, Gundam 00. now i don't understand japo but i think i heard it say "Lockon, Lockon" which is a character in the latest series that owns a pet bot just like that. in one of the last episodes the bot starts saying that for reason i can't mention because it would be a spoiler.

It was the companion for Amuro Ray in the original 1979 Gundam anime.

In the Gundam cartoons, Haro is basically the mascot robot that hangs around the hero. Kinda like C3PO and R2D2, but rolly-pollier and much more squeakied voice than either of the two.

As for the real life Haro, well, they're toys, like the cartoon counterpart. Except it's less functional. By the end of the one of the series the Haro was part of, it could walk, talk, fly, project holograms, open its yap to reveal a fully functional PC, and generally worked as a Deus Ex Machina as needed.

And you ask me how I know this? If my icon ain't a damn giveaway, I don't know what is.

That is Haro from the anime Gundam 00. The anime seems to indicate that Haro's "brother", a purple machine of the same type, and other robots like him, contain info about the "Celestial Being" project from the past.
