I wouldn't call landline phones 'obsolete'... cell phone reception for me is still spotty enough that it's worth having a land line. If I go to certain parts of my house (ie, the kitchen) I lose any call on my cell.

I think the whole Street Fighter: the Later Years series proved that. Kinda came out of nowhere, really. When I was in college it was... well, a place for kids to post pictures of boobs and people passed out.

It still is, but the quality of boobs and Sharpie penises on faces have increased significantly.
