@MarkB: Hey, I've visited the country numerous times, and I can tell you for a fact that dogs are not commercially slaughtered and sold in the market. There are many poor people there, and in some areas many stray dogs roam about. What are hungry people gonna do when they're damn hungry? Yes, millions of dogs are consumed, but they are not available in food markets...fortunately. It is considered "normal" whether or not a person eats or avoids dog meat. I don't really care for your opinion. I just want people to avoid dehumanizing the Koreans just because some eat dogs.

By the way, dogs are delicious.

@Daimyo Nintendo: What's your problem? You have something agaist South Korea? As Kimistry wrote above, the South Korean economy is fine. Just because they're making some advances in cloning that the US doesn't have a strong "competition" for doesn't mean you have to get your pants in a bunch.

According to my Taiwanese friend, dogs with darker fur have higher quality meat. Black is best, brown is fine, and white dogs taste horrible. Guess these are only good for sniffing packages.
