Let's see...add a 6" curved tube inside spout to break vacuum...change screw to cam lever and reverse rod so hinge is on bottom...flatten holder end opposite spout to allow filling while vessel mounted in holder...done! Now that wasn't so hard, was it?

I'm English and as such, my opinion of tea-pots is more important than those of citizens of any other nation in the world, except maybe China or India, but still, ya know?

The way the water instantly runs down the spout is awful - it can lead to scarring burns and other painful afflictions, and the inconsistent flow is a MAJOR design flaw. If it had a little flap that opened with a lever on the handle, it would let the air in and have an even flow.

But that dripping is still lethal.

Anwhooo, back on topic, it is indeed a pretty design. but we must all remember, one of the most important aspects of design is practicality/usability. If its design interferes with its sole purpose, then well...it has a poor design.

looks pretty POURLY made to me. hahaha pourly.... i'm too funny for my own good. but honestly, function, especially when messing around with hot water, is key here. i think they should have really thought it out a bit more. also, moustache is A+.

Why not simply pour the water into the beaker, and THEN place the beaker onto the metal frame? Would that no tbe easier?

This said, it still would not make the tea pour out any better, though...

LOL...I can tell by the video that he didnt read the SoraPot Directions.

Step 6 say's, Stand Sorapot upright and pour hotwater into the spot. I nearly lost it laughing when you started to pour water into the beaker while holding the lower section like a mug. Sadly....someone caught you and you edited out the section where the water went IN the spout. :(
