I'm actually way off on what I had originally voted. I'm a programmer and a gamer, so I figured I was on the super high-end. Turns out I'm not! =-o

Work: 8-9 on weekdays working/pretending-to-work
Play: 5-6 nightly gaming/surfing plus about 3 on weekends during the day.

Average: 8-9 hours a day.

I'm shocked it's that low. My wife probably thinks it's more too. lol!

I hit at least 13 hrs a day at the computer (not counting days that I work while eating lunch), and at least another 2 hours on my blackberry between work and my evening Giz read before heading to bed (no internet at home).

i do 4-10hrs at work, and i turned the livingroom into my office, where i sit and surf the giz, play games and watch/listen to the tv till nappytime
on the weekend, i fire up the eee as well, for extra computing goodness, and am pretty much on those all day and night (i will finish simpsons hit and run, crysis, and half-life2)
and i think i may go for the drive wipe, and install the new unbuntu this weekend as well, and give it a better try than last time

when i'm off in the winter(landscaper) teaching my self coding and web design, I'll run into the 19 hour mark 7am to 2am the next day, and enjoy it. It's gotten to the point where i can remember shit loads of code(PHP,SQL,Actionscript,Javascript/DHTML, CSS, Flash, XML) with ease, yet i have problems remembering 4 different items I have to pick up at the store. I seriously need help, and that statue. I'm 22 and computers have been my cocaine since age 12.

I sleep with a my laptop on my bed. I use it until I go to sleep. I wake up and I check my email and such. From there I drive to work and use my work PC for 10 hours. From there I go home log on to my laptop again and do some Photoshop work. in fact..i'm on a screen every waking hour... I have an In-Dash DVD Player in my car that I use while I drive... and even if I'm at the gym I have my Archos Player.... hmmm... I need a waterproof screen for my shower..

I got 8 hours at work, given. But there are of course web-filters on websites, so I have to usually spend 2 hours or so on those "blocked" sites when I get home.

10 hours a day...Wow. A human was not meant to spent that much time of his life in front of glowing box of information. Sad.

I have the pizza delivery guy make me coffee and feed me the pizza for an extra tip 3 times a day, that way i skip having to remove my hands from my pc:)
My pants have a hole in them so i can multi task while living in my bathroom.
The pizza guy is reluctant to wipe my ass, but giving him a dollar more dose wonders.
Haven't had a shower since windows 1.0, but the pizza guy does give a good sponge bath for a few bucks more.

Far too much. Right now I'm doing evening shifts, so that's pretty much my day.

Today I woke up at noon, started my Eee next to me, did a quick scan of my blogs (Giz included), downloaded my paper (all digital, baby!), showered and dined (1 hour for both), then grabbed the Eee and surfed "leisurely" for another hour. Grabbed a bus, and while today I didn't, I usually either read my paper or a ebook, again on the Eee. Got to work at a quarter to 4, started the work PC, surfed some more and here I am 2 hours later on Giz. Probably going to keep myself occupied that way (or watching DVDs) on the computer until 11, where I'm going to go back home and get crackin' with Ubuntu 8.04 on my main laptop. Leisurely, of course

I can't answer this, I just don't know.

It depends whether I'm working or not.
If I'm at work, then maybe 2-3 hours max. If I'm not, then it depends what I'm doing on my day off - some days, like today, are just kind of spent vegetating round the house, in which case I spend a lot of time on my computer, but if I go out for the day, it can quite often be even less than if I was at work.

These are all the amounts of time spent on my own computer because, whilst there are computers at work, using them is an entirely different matter and it's just not comparable.

6 hours for me, a 5 1/2 of it is spent reading the Gawker sites. They're like my daily dose of drugs or something. I have Consumerist, Kotaku and Gizmodo bookmarked. I than click on each one for tabs, than I end up being interested in almost every topic so I click each one I'm interested in (usually producing about 40 tabs, more if I have posts from Defamer I'm interested in as well) and than I read through them and most of the comments. This can take about 4 hours sometimes because I'll be constantly checking for new posts after I'm done reading, and then read those too. I'm obsessed, and might be one of the biggest Gawker fans out there, giving you guys around 60 hits a day or more.

I'm using IE7 and sometimes the polls work and sometimes they don't. I guess the browsers are not to blame. It's whatever Giz is using to make them that is causing this annoying bug.

I'm on my computer from the moment I wake up to the time I go to bed. And does using the iphone to do a lot (besides making calls) count? I spent ample time on that device as well. Its my miniMac. =)
