@willentrekin: You're right on the no-spec part, but it has a ~3.1 mil USB jack. I haven't actually measured it or anything, but I'm guessing the phone is about 13 mils thick.

I don't think that that's too bad. However, that would mean that the headphone jack is probably the less than universal 2.5 mil standard, judging by the pic. Is this common in blackberry phones?

Babysealclubber

I wonder what the price will be, has to be less than pearl i would hope.

ManoloDF

but no, seriously, I tend to agree with you. I've been using my RAZR for quite some time now. And although I do like the slim design for pocketing it, I don't like the feel of holding it for use. It feels too flimsy, and I always sit on it and think I'm going to break it. I can see where you would prefer something with just a LITTLE more substance to the physical design....

Your right, I didn't suggest that thinner is never better, I'll do that now. I may or may not be in the minority here, but a cell phone has to fit snuggely into my hand. That means it can't be too wide, it can't be too thin, it has to be something I can use with one hand, I definetly don't want the whole damn screen to be touch-screen either. This is what I'm personally looking for in a phone, and it perplexes me when people go for the newest thing, just because it's the newest thing. Finding a phone that suits my needs won't be easy.

redrabbit

The belt clips are evidently thicker then this phone, I like to have a nice grip on something when I'm holding it. I don't suppose you're the type of person who'd buy a paper-thin cell phone when/if they come out? The razor is too thin, the iPhone too wide, but this one doesn't seem too bad. I'm still not going to buy a cell until I see the perfect one, appealing on the outside AND inside.

redrabbit

Why would you prefer a thicker phone?

Thinner IS better, IMHO:
Easier to get in and out of pockets.
Aesthetically more appealing.
Today's thin phones don't sacrifice features.

There is a reason that phone manufacturers are coming out with thinner phones. You are in the minority here.
