I totally agree with you and have ever since Giz first announced this camera. I kind of got jumped on for ragging on it, but I really don't see the point until the technology's a little more refined, and the video's at a more usable size.

I work in video, and something like this would be great...except we don't have a lot of use for youtube-size content.

The camera also has a nifty sports mode where it continuously takes full 6mp images into its buffer at 60 images per second, and when you actually press the trigger, it saves the last 60 images, helping you get the perfect action shot. And it does HD video recording at standard rates.

It's not for everyone, but there's nothing like it in the price range.
