Hyundais really are outstanding cars for the money. Every bit as good as any of their competitors and at a more affordable price. I got rid of my first one only because it had no AC. It had 160,000 miles on it and still ran like a champ. No problems at all with it. The second one I put a quarter of a million miles on and it still ran fine as well. Only had to change the alternator in it.

I've had the opportunity to tinker quite a bit with Sync and it works very well. I was a bit skeptical when it first came out because I figured it would be very buggy until it was refined over time. One of those items that goes haywire seemingly intentionally so you have to take the car back to the dealership and spread your cheeks while the dealer sticks the massive bill up your ass. Turned out I was wrong. It works very well and I was thoroughly impressed. Very encouraging sign of things to come in terms of computer technology in automobiles.

The quality is on par with Toyota and the gas mileage has been a godsend in high prices out the ass Seattle. Can't wait for the Sync system for Kia, it should hit just about the time I'm ready for an auto refresh. And yes, it does connect quite nicely to the Zune (I have 3)

I just got my 2008 Ford Fusion SEL with Sync and all kinds of fun stuff, and the Sync has been great to play with. It gets what I ask on the first time 99% of the time. Even hard stuff that I would never think it would understand (even gets songs like "Fuck her Gently" by Tenatious D, and the voice repeating it is great).

Now, I would not touch a Hyundai to get it, but for those that want a sweet, inexpensive voice recog system, Sync (or whatever they call it if you get an H) is the way to go.

Then my wife liked it so much, we bought her one also. Same thing except I have the 4 banger and her the 6 (I drive 76 miles round trip to work - she only drive 2). No complaints for either one. I'm looking forward to the Hyundai pickup when they bring it over. I even heard rumor of a diesel version in the US future.
