Get yourself a tent and an air mattress and call it a day. Best part about it, it's yours to take home and use again and again. Besides, if you are sleeping out at a concert instead of at home or a hotel, chances are you don't care a heck of a lot about your accommodations anyway.

Also they should have put the lock on the outside, to keep people from wandering in and having sex, taking a leak, or passing out on your bed while you're gone (or all three). I can see these as tempting when port a potties aren't nearby...yuck.

For me, if you have an SUV (and lots of people do) getting an air mattress and cooler and enduring the walk back to it to sleep the night would be much more comfortable and a lot more secure than this thing.
With most SUV's you can remove the seat rows for extra space, inflate the bed using the lighter adapter, and lock the doors at night.

If that price is per night, you can easily rent a camper for that much and really live it up.

I love sitting and laying outdoors, but that direct sunlight business really ruins things for me and tents don't come with lockable storage. Oh wait . . . I can buy a tent for a fraction of the rental price of one of these things and keep my stuff in my pockets, so maybe I just got excited over nothing.

OK, so they do actually look kind of neat and the lockable storage might be handy even if it is a bit low-security, but the price is just too high. I can imagine students putting these things to good use on college and university campuses if they could be purchased or rented cheaply on campus. Hmm . . . maybe I should start up just such a service.

"Brought to you by the guy who some snotty young woman walked by complaining about seeing people sleeping on benches at school even though he was actually awake and just relaxing with his sunglasses on. . . it's Study Den! Available for rent at the Student Union with and without sunroof for incognito cloud-watching!"

The first part of that was a true story, by the way. It happened a couple weeks ago at SJSU when I was just relaxing on a bench between classes. Ha ha.

If it could be taken down and stored flat in modular pieces, and didn't weigh (much) more than a tent and all the gear; it might actually be a superior way to camp, especially in a dodgy climate (rain, extreme temperatures, etc).
