Has there ever been a video game that appeals to as many fan bases as Lego Dimensions does? Through add-on level packs, fans of everything from Ghostbusters to Back to the Future will want to play. And now even gamers who prefer the classic arcade titles of the ‘80s have a reason to grab a copy.

Available today is the new Lego Mindstorms Midway Arcade level pack that comes with a buildable Gamer Kid minifigure, a matching arcade machine, and a G-6155 Spy Hunter car that can all be imported into the game through the Lego Toy Pad and used to unlock the open-world gameplay of the Midway Arcade Adventure World.

Even cooler is that the accompanying Lego sets can also be used to unlock 23 classic emulated video games that can be played on whatever console you’re playing Lego Dimensions on. These include Spyhunter, Blasteroids, Championship Sprint, Defender, Defender II, Gauntlet, Gauntlet II, Joust, Joust 2, Marble Madness, Paperboy, Rampage, Road Blasters, Seven Twenty, Badlands, KLAX, SuperSprint, Timber, Toobin, Robron, Cyberball, Xybots, and Vindicators.

And just to be clear, these aren’t Lego-ized versions of those classic games, they’re the real original versions. So if you haven’t yet hacked your consoler to load MAME or other emulators, this is a more legitimate way to get your retro fix, without a pocket full of quarters.
