We're often amazed at the huge sums of money people will spend on their pets, but then again our only pet is a neglected robotic dog, so maybe we're not one to talk. Anyway, there's a new way to spend $500 on your cat or dog: a gadget called the ISeePet which combines an Internet-connected webcam with an automatic pet feeder. Once it's connected to your home network, you can log onto to the ISeePet from any Web browser, decide whether to feed your pet a meal or a snack, spy on them using the webcam, or even trigger a little musical chime to let them know it's time to eat.
