FlipStartPC HQ dug up a bunch of information about the FlipStartPC, including information about the LID module (the external LCD screen that will allow you to check email even when the unit is in low-power suspend) and how some of the keys/key combinations will work. What's most disappointing, though—well, besides the fact that the LID will only work with Outlook, and not just any mail client—is that the current talk puts the FlipStart launch date anywhere from January to Q2 of next year, for prices between $1,000 and $2,000. That's both too late, and too much, if they keep the current feature set.
