The iPod shuffle is such a simple device you'd almost think you could do without a review, but MacCentral's write up had a few new bits of information all the same, including how the battery testing works and how the playlist works with iTunes. I still haven't bought one yet, although I probably will (in two-to-four weeks) because I'm an easy lay for Apple and I want a bigger flash drive, but I'm still somewhat disappointed by the whole thing. No display is fine, but with little things like the inability to play Apple Lossless or AIFF files, the whole thing is just so cut rate.

Also, Apple Matters disected a shuffle. It's solid state and needs no display—when are we going to see some modded iPod shuffles?
