Novint Technologies rolled up on the DEMO confrence this week with the Falcon, which they claim to be a video game controller. The Falcon actually began life doing information modeling for dental education and geological exploration, two fields that naturally lead you to first person shooters and fighting games.

No word on how the thing will work (it's sort of lacking in the button department), but Novint believe its force feedback device is ideally suited for gaming, because my life needs more awkward vibrating things in it. Expect a launch early next year for PCs with consoles to follow and a price tag of a hundred bucks.
