If you're like my husband—totally, completely and sadly, obsessed with sports—you'll be thanking the electronics gods for the new Sportscaster, announced at CES. A plug-and-play XM receiver with a two-line display screen and a nice price of only $60, the Sportscaster is a collaboration between XM Satellite Radio and Advanced Global Technology, giving you access to all 160 XM radio channels, but featuring 30 channel presets for sports channels such as the baseball talk radio channel MLB Home Plate and hockey talk channel Home Ice. And don't forget the special XM channel that provides continuously-updated text about when and where to find live sports broadcasts on XM. The product comes with car accessories that wirelessly transmit XM Satellite Radio to any car's FM radio, so you won't miss a thing, and other accessories include a boombox that's tailor-made for tailgate parties and a home docking station for listening to XM in the home or office.
