Just when you thought you ve seen every type of USB drive imaginable, Taiwan s A-Data steps into the picture and shows off its Solar Disk. The Solar Disk combines the usual 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB or 2GB USB flashe memory with a solar cell, powering an LCD on the drive s face. The LCD displays the drive s remaining storage capacity. And yes, if the sun goes down you will still be able to access the drive s data. It s due out on April 1 (no, not a joke).
