Panasonic announced it will ship the DMP-BD810 Blu-ray player in September, and is also planning to release a line of 1080p plasma TVs at the same time. The Blu-ray player will also be able to play back most DVD, CD and image formats, and will have a feature Panasonic calls "EZ-Sync HDAVI control function," where multiple Panasonic products are connected together and controlled by one remote.
What we're wondering about is the price, which Panasonic says in its press release will be "less than $1500." Were thinking that unless it's a whole lot less than $1500, not many people will line up for one of these.
